Why is circumcision legal?
Uncircumcised men do not have more health prolems than the circumcised, unless the foreskin is forcefully pulled back. No one follows a religious book completely- everyone's a cherry picker. Therefore religion has nothing to do with it. Having more than one spouse, which in itself is not harmful, is a crime. Yet this is one of the worst kinds of child abuse out there & is perfectly legal. If you're not going to watch the whole 5:41, don't bother commenting.

@mathematicalbagpiper - *squeals* So happy you recommended!!! Especially since a lot of people look at your blogs, thus will now see this.
I couldn't make it through the whole video; that was appalling. Circumcision of infants should not be legal. It should be an option for anyone who wants it later on in life--because after all, piercing, tattooing, and scarification are all legal, and are just different forms of body modification--but I have a feeling few would take that route.
Circumcision should definitely be made illegal. No doubt about it.
@jupiter312 - did you at least make it through a couple minutes?
@a12906 - The first two minutes of it. Don't get me wrong; I think it's a terrible thing to do to a child and should not be allowed. But I'm also not going to say that any adult who wants to be circumcised shoudn't have that option. I want to stop abuse, but not free choice.
@jupiter312 - If an adult wants to do it, that's fine, you're right. I just want people to get the full extent by watching the whole 5:14.
Off topic, but I'm curious--is that Anton LaVey in your plug?
@niceBrice - It sure is. I apologize if you thought it was me. Before, I tried plugging with different pictures and nothing worked. Seeing how Xanga required me to have a picture, I finally found one that worked (which happened to be this one), and I'm a LaVeyan Satanist, I went with this one.
@a12906 - Very cool. I'm agnostic, but I'd say that Satanism has had a positive influence on me, ha. Wish more people were open-minded towards it.
@niceBrice - I think it would have a positive influence on people in general if they were open-minded like you said. Or at the very least if they know who Thorin is. He sells books on www.wickedjesterclothing.com and most of his beliefs overlap those of Satanism. He would be a good compromise because (as far as I know) he has no declared ties to Satanism.
I had a really hard time watching this. Yeah, circumcision should be illegal. Plus, I remember reading a blog where it said men who were uncircumcised experienced double or triple the pleasure. Made me kind of sad while reading that.
I have two intact sons, and I am so glad that I did the research while I was pregnant so that I could protect my sons from this genital mutilation. It SHOULDN'T be legal.

@samuelchoo - If only people were forced to watch something like this when saying they want their kid circumcised. I just love how those who want abortions are forced to look at something first, but (as far as I know) those who want to forcibly circumcise others get it no questions asked.
one more thing.... my second son was a homebirth, but my first was born in a military hospital in North Carolina. A lactation expert at the hospital gave us a thumbs-up for leaving him whole. She told us that the hospital rarely lets the parents in the room when their son is circumcised. She said that, in the past, many parents would vomit, cry, faint, or change their mind once the clamping and cutting starts. I have had many friends change their mind because they can't get through the video. I think it should be mandatory that you watch before you sign your baby up for an unnecessary amputation!!! @jenndowning - A lactation expert was giving advice on circumcision? I find it criminal that they forbid parents from being in the room, but I guess otherwise doctors wouldn't make as much money.
